Fourth Annual Washington County Energy Symposium

The Washington County Chamber of Commerce, Mylan Classic and Washington County Energy Partners are pleased to host the Fourth Annual Washington County Energy Symposium on Thursday, August 1, 2013 during the opening round of the 2013 Mylan Classic. The symposium is designed to further educate businesses about the energy industry and how it is driving economic development in Washington County.

The Energy Symposium will feature a full day of energy related events focusing on the opportunities and challenges of the energy industry in Pennsylvania. Panel discussions will include experts and policymakers from industry, business and government providing insights and analysis into the advancement of the energy industry in Pennsylvania. Scheduled to participate on panels are The Hon. Tim Solobay, Pennsylvania Senate; The Hon. Chris Abruzzo, Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection; The Hon. Patrick Henderson, Pennsylvania Energy Executive; and Paul Ziemkiewicz, Ph.D., Director, WVU Water Research Institute amongst others.

Registration fee is $50 for members of the Washington County Chamber of Commerce, Marcellus Shale Coalition & Young Professionals in Energy and $75 for non-members.
